If you would like to stock Scumble Goosie abroad, please contact Jon Madeley at scumblegoosie@aol.com Ordering Procedure and Terms and ConditionsBrochures As we are constantly expanding our range, we find that brochures can no longer represent a true picture of our collection and therefore ask our customers to use our website instead. Our website is updated with new items and special offers on a weekly basis. Hi-resolution images are available upon request by emailing us. We look forward to hearing from you! Bespoke pieces Most of the collection items can be altered to suit your specifications. More > Ordering Orders can be placed by telephone, email or by post to Scumble Goosie, Griffin Mill, London Rd, Thrupp, Glos GL5 2AZ. We will call you to get credit card details so please do not email these details to us. Payment We accept most credit and debit cards (not American Express) and cheques. 25% of the total amount is taken at the time of your order, the balance will be debited on dispatch. The furniture ordered will remain Scumble Goosie property until the balance on the order has been paid in full and the funds have cleared. Refunds Credit notes or refunds will be issued against standard unpainted collection pieces provided that they are returned intact and in the original packaging within 7 days of receipt and that Scumble Goosie has been notified in writing within 48 hours of receipt of delivery. N.B. There can be no refund on hand-painted orders or bespoke (painted or unpainted) items unless of course the item is faulty. Disclaimer Our customers will understand that a hand-painted finish on a hand-made piece of furniture will by its very nature involve slight variations and irregularities which are part of the look and style of our collection and distinguish our pieces from mass produced furniture. Delivery Charges You are welcome to collect your furniture or we can offer delivery throughout the UK and beyond. Heavy items such as wardrobes, armoires and larger chests of drawers can be delivered by one man if there is assistance at the delivery address. If you would prefer a two man delivery please let us know when you request a quote. Special Offers From time to time we have special offers advertised on this website. Please note that customers wishing to take advantage of any particular offer must state this at the time of ordering as all offers are only available for limited periods. More > Assembly The majority of our items are delivered assembled. The tables may have simple self-assembly legs often involving just hand tightening of four wing nuts. Delivery Timescales It is clearly in our interest to get orders despatched to our customers as quickly as possible! Ready to paint items in stock are usually dispatched within 2 weeks (smaller items can very often be sent on a next day service) and hand-painted items within 4 to 5 weeks. You will be advised at the time of ordering of our anticipated delivery time and we will always endeavour to meet special delivery requirements whenever possible. Scumble Goosie will not be responsible for any delays that might result from re-scheduling an agreed date. Damage It is important to unwrap the furniture and check the items before signing the carriers' delivery note; we may not be able to rectify problems unless this procedure has been adhered to. In the case of items being sent by an overnight parcel firm such as TNT it is often the case that the driver may not be able to wait whilst a thorough inspection is carried out so we strongly recommend that you write "some box damage noted" on the delivery note so that in the event that a problem is discovered a claim can be made. In the unlikely event that damage has occured it must be reported to us within 48hours in order for us to comply with the terms of the carrier. |
